The Elder in Action

Three days / three nights.  Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon

Building on the Elder Invocation, this retreat invites participants to bring their wisdom into the world - to become elders in action.

Across three days, you will explore how to embody the qualities of true eldership: presence, compassion, discernment, and service. Together we will look at what functional eldering means, not as an abstract idea, but as a lived practice grounded in community and daily life.

Through story, dialogue, movement, and ceremony, you will:

• Discover what “elder in action” looks like for you personally and in your community.
• Identify and release what might keep you small or silent — fear, doubt, or unworthiness.
• Reclaim the courage and authenticity needed to stand in your power as an elder.
• Receive a ceremonial blessing as you commit to a future of purpose-driven eldering.

This retreat marks the shift from reflection to embodiment, from awakening wisdom to living it.  Offering a grounded path toward meaningful service and soul-aligned action.

This retreat is for those who have begun to hear the call to bring their elderhood into the world in tangible ways.

It is especially suited to people who:

• Have already begun the journey of awakening to their own wisdom and wish to live it more fully.
• Feel ready to offer guidance, steadiness, and truth to others in family, community, and wider society.
• Want to overcome self-doubt, fear, or hesitation and step into authentic, visible eldership.
• Seek to balance humility with the courage to act when their presence is needed.
• Long for the blessing of a community that recognises and honours their readiness to serve.

This retreat welcomes all who wish to walk as elders - those ready to act, bless, and serve with heart, integrity, and purpose.
